Blessing for our Troops

We are praying for your safety. We want you to know that people back home really care about you and appreciate your service!

Has anyone ever told you that God loves you and that He has a wonderful plan for your life?

If you were to die this very second, do you know for sure, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that you would go to heaven?

Let me quickly share with you what the Holy Bible says. It says “for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” and “for the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” The Bible also says, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” And you’re a “whosoever” right? Of course you are; we all are.

I’m going to say a quick prayer for you:

Dear Heavenly Father, I pray that You bless our troops, and their families with long healthy lives. Lord, meet all of their needs… I ask You to make Psalm 91 the testimony of this dear soldier as You protect them and bring them home safely. Jesus, make Yourself real to them. Do a quick work in their hearts, and if they have not asked Jesus Christ to be their Lord and Savior, I pray that they will do so now.

If you would like to receive the gift that God has for you today, pray this with all of your heart:

Dear Lord Jesus, come into my heart. Forgive me of my sin. Set me free. Lord, You know I am willing to lay down my life for my country, but I thank you for protecting me. I believe that Jesus actually did lay down His life on the cross for me. I believe He rose from the dead to give me eternal life. Thank You, Jesus! I ask You to come and be my Lord and Savior. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit right now. Give me a hunger for the things of God, and a passion for the lost. Give me boldness to share the good news of Jesus Christ with others. I’m saved. I’m born again and I’m on my way to heaven, because I have Jesus in my heart! Amen

When you asked Jesus to come into your heart and to forgive you, He heard you and did so! All of your sins are now forgiven! Always remember to run to God and not from God because He loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life. You can write: ”I got saved!” on your calendar today! Keep this with you until you have memorized Psalm 91. Please remember also that we are praying for you!

Psalm 91 New King James Version (NKJV) Safety of Abiding in the Presence of God

91 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”

3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence. 4 He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. 5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day, 6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.

7 A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you. 8 Only with your eyes shall you look, And see the reward of the wicked.

9 Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place, 10 No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; 11 For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways. 12 In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone. 13 You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.

14 “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name. 15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. 16 With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation.”
