HOW TO Live a Blessed Life

I hear ministers trying to reason with people about how to live a blessed life. But many times there must be some kind of blinder keeping them from seeing, understanding or receiving. We can reason with them until we are blue in the face. But they personally need to ask the Lord to remove the blinders and help them see and understand. Here are the prayers that the Lord showed me to pray to finally be able to enter into living the blessed life that God has for each one of us:
2 Corinthians 4:3-4 New King James Version (NKJV)
3 But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, 4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.
2 Corinthians 3:14-18 New King James Version (NKJV)
14 But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away in Christ. 15 But even to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart. 16 Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17 Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
Ask the Lord to give you eyes to see, ears to hear and a heart to understand! Ask Him to prepare your heart to be good ground to receive His word!
Matthew 13:13-23 New King James Version (NKJV)
13 Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. 14 And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says:
‘Hearing you will hear and shall not understand, And seeing you will see and not perceive; 15 For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.’

The Parable of the Sower Explained

This is he who received seed by the wayside. 20 But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; 21 yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles. 22 Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful. 23 But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.”
Repent and Ask the Lord to: Create in me a clean heart!
Psalm 51:9-10 New King James Version (NKJV)
9 Hide Your face from my sins, And blot out all my iniquities.
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Ask the Lord to take out the stony heart and put in a heart of flesh!
Ezekiel 11:19-21 New King James Version (NKJV)
19 Then I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh, 20 that they may walk in My statutes and keep My judgments and do them; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God. 21 But as for those whose hearts follow the desire for their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their deeds on their own heads,” says the Lord God.
Ask the Lord to cause you to understand the fear of the Lord.

Ask the Lord to give you a hunger and thirst for His Wisdom!

Ask the Lord to give you an obedient heart to His Word and His Voice!

It’s not hard. It’s a simple choice. Ask the Lord to help you choose Life and Blessing!
Deuteronomy 30:14-20
14 But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it.

Ask the Lord to give you a hunger and thirst to read and down-load His Word into your heart, mind, and soul! Ask Him to teach you His ways and cause you to love and enjoy reading through the Bible cover-to-cover over and over!

Ask the Lord to cause you to experience His Love. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you fall in love with God with all of your heart, mind, and soul.

Renew your mind with the Word of God to know God’s Perfect Will!

Ask the Lord to keep you constantly hungry for His Word so the Truth can set you free!
