Thankful Heart

Have you ever heard that the Bible says, “Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! For He satisfies the longing soul, and fills the hungry soul with goodness.” Psalm 107:8-9 “Make a joyful shout to the Lord… Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with singing. Know that the Lord, He is God; it is He who has made us, and not we ourselves… Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations.” Psalm 100 New King James Version (NKJV)

The Bible also says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” And ”For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” And “Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”? Did you know that you are a “whosoever”?

Thanksgiving Blessing

Lord, I ask You to bless the person reading this card with a long healthy life. Wrap Your loving arms around them right now. Jesus, do a quick work in their heart and make Yourself real to them. If they have never called upon Your name, I pray that they will do so right now.

If you would like to receive the gift that God has for you today, say this prayer with all of your heart, out loud:

Dear Lord Jesus, come into my heart. Forgive me of my sins. Wash me, cleanse me, set me free. Jesus, thank You that You died for me. I believe that God raised You from the dead so I can have eternal life. I ask You to come and be my personal Lord and Savior. Fill me with the Holy Spirit, the peace of God, and the joy of the Lord. Give me a passion to reach the lost, a hunger for the things of God, and boldness to share the good news of Jesus Christ with others. I’m saved. I’m born again. I’m forgiven and I’m on my way to heaven because I have Jesus in my heart. Amen Thank You Jesus!

When you asked Jesus to come into your heart and to forgive you, He heard you and did so. All of your sins are now forgiven. When you receive Jesus as your Lord, the Bible says God adopts you as His child. God wants to bless you more than you want to see your own children blessed! Always remember to run TO God and NOT from God, because He loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life. Have a blessed Thanksgiving!
