Down through the years, the church, as a whole, has begun to focus on lots of things other than soul winning, but there is a mighty move of God sweeping across the globe! At the same time gross darkness has been covering the earth, great light is beginning to shine as God’s glory is being poured out in hungry churches that are seeking Him! There has been an attempt to systematically remove God from our society. Misinterpretation of “separation of church and state” has relegated the church to a religious right-wing institution that needs to keep to itself. The average church has been intimidated into being politically correct! When preachers pray publicly in the name of Jesus they are reprimanded (John 14:12-15). But if they dare to proclaim that Jesus is the only way to heaven (John 14:6) they are attacked relentlessly. Ministers can speak out more boldly when their church has been touched by revival, and they if they know that they have an anonymous army (that is on fire and winning souls) backing them. If we leave evangelism to a few big name ministers, the enemy can target them and take them out. But if every child of God rises up and begins to lead people around them to the Lord, then the enemy won’t know who is going to strike next. It could be the 92 year old grandma at the assisted living facility or the fourteen year old child at school that God is moving through to snatch people out of the kingdom of darkness (Acts 26:18; Col. 1:13-14). There is an urgency in the Spirit in this hour…We need to begin to have an eternal perspective. We have to go outside the four walls of the church as individuals and share our faith. Even if churches go on television, the general public ‘doesn’t like to watch that stuff’. Do you have unsaved loved ones? Would they watch a T.V. preacher, or darken the doors of a church? There are multitudes just like them that need to hear (one on one, from a Christian they know and trust) that God loves them! One hundred years from now, what is really going to be important? If Jesus does not come soon…What will America be like for our grandchildren to experience? Will people be put in prison (or even put to death) for preaching the gospel, like it is in other nations? Will there be a world-wide recession? Will our kids see World War III? People in the 40’s thought Hitler was the anti-Christ, World War II must be Armageddon and Jesus was going to help them escape…Well apparently not! If we don’t rise up as the army of God and take this nation back, will America be a Godless, Muslim, Hindu, or Buddhist nation someday? When we die, there is only one thing we can take with us…souls! It is time for us to return to the main focus of the New Testament: GO and preach the gospel (Mark 16:15). Repent, for the kingdom of God is at hand (Matt. 10:7-8). Compel the lost to come in (Luke 14:16-23)! The apostle Paul wrote 2/3 of the New Testament, yet he stuck to ‘Christ and Him Crucified’ in his preaching (1 Cor. 2:1-5). The world desperately needs to hear the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ, Son of God, sent to bare our sins on the cross, redeeming us from slavery to sin and eternity in hell (1 Cor. 1:18-25; 1 John 1:7-10; 1 John 2:1-2), and that He is risen from the dead and seated on the right hand of God (Eph. 1:17-23)! People need to know the good news that when they receive the Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, their names are written in heaven, and they have eternal life (John 3:16-17; Luke 10:20; Acts 16:31; Rom. 10:9-10)!
You can be a part of what God is doing across America right now! The only thing that can turn this nation around is a mighty move of God. It is time for the average Christian to return to their First Love, get on fire for God and go outside the four walls of the church to reach a hurting world that is lost. This is the heart of God for this nation in this hour.
We are looking at a generation that has had no Christian up-bringing. Honestly, if parents didn’t decide to just abort their children, they were both so busy working that the kids were raised by child-care institutions, video games, television and public schools with teachers who taught them that there is no God and they descended from apes! Society and dead religion have presented God as this big mean ‘old man upstairs’ who just wants to take away their fun, put a bunch of rules on them, zap them with disasters and throw them into hell. They are joining gangs and cults to find a place where they can at least belong to some group that gives them a sense of belonging. They turn to illicit sex, drugs, alcohol, witchcraft, divination and all sorts of other new age deception looking for love in all the wrong places! Many who trusted in their money have learned in this economy that their trust has been in something futile. In the past, it was hard to witness to the wealthy, because they didn’t think they needed God. But now, even they are hungry for something real, too! When we go out on the streets (or door to door) and present the gospel in a loving manner, people are so hungry for love and truth that they literally line up to speak with our soul winners and receive Jesus! Truly the harvest is ripe in America! Check out the recorded testimonies on revival.com.
When we step out and determine that we are going to allow the Holy Spirit to speak to people through us, life becomes an exciting adventure! You could be the one who happens to be there when someone cries out for God in their life. Let me illustrate what I mean. I was just leaving a hospital one day, when I saw an older couple in the lobby looking for information. I knew I was to witness to them. I asked them what they needed. They were looking for the emergency room. They had gotten word that their daughter was very ill and had been admitted into the E.R. I told them, “Let’s pray right now for your daughter.” The woman began to weep as I prayed. When I finished praying, she told me, while choking back the tears, “I had just told my husband that when we were younger, if there was an emergency like this, we would call our pastor. But we have no one to call! That’s when you walked up!”… God is so good! Life is such a fun adventure when we share the love of God! I immediately went through the Gospel Soul Winning Script and both of them received Jesus as their Savior! Later, I ran into them outside of the E.R. with their daughter and granddaughter. When the woman saw me, she grabbed her daughter’s hand, pointed at me, and exclaimed, “She’s the one who prayed for you! I want you to meet her.”… God is so awesome! I was blessed to be able to lead their daughter and granddaughter to the Lord!

The Gospel Soul-Winning Scripture card
Has anyone ever told you that God loves you and that He has a wonderful plan for your life? I have a really quick, but important question to ask you. If you were to die this very second, do you know for sure, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that you would go to heaven? [If “Yes”—Great, why would you say “Yes”? (If they respond with anything but “I have Jesus in my heart” or something similar to that, PROCEED WITH THE SCRIPT) or “no” or “I hope so” PROCEED WITH THE SCRIPT.]
Let me quickly share with you what the Holy Bible says. It says “for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” and “for the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” The Bible also says, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” And you’re a “whosoever” right? Of course you are; we all are.
I’m going to say a quick prayer for you. Lord, bless (fill in name) and his/her family with long healthy lives. Wrap Your loving arms around them right now. Jesus, make Yourself real to (fill in name) and do a quick work in his/her heart. If (fill in name) has not received Jesus Christ as his/her Lord and Savior, I pray that he/she will do so now.
(fill in name), if you would like to receive the gift that God has for you today, say this after me out loud and with all of your heart. Dear Lord Jesus, come into my heart. Forgive me of my sin. Wash me and cleanse me. Set me free. Thank You, Jesus, for dying on the cross for me. I believe You are risen from the dead so I can have eternal life. Jesus, come and be my Lord and Savior. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Lord, show me Your good plan for my life. Give me a passion for the lost, a hunger for the things of God, and boldness to share the good news of Jesus Christ with others. I’m saved. I’m born again. I’m forgiven and I’m on my way to heaven because I have Jesus in my heart. Amen
What a powerful prayer! I tell you today that all of your sins are forgiven. Always remember to run to God and not from God because He loves you and has a great plan for your life.

Acts 4:29 Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, 30 by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.” 31 And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.

Scriptures referred to in the article above:
John 14:12-15 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. 13 And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
Acts 26:18 to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me (Jesus).’
Colossians 1:13-14 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, 14In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
Mark 16:15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.
Matthew 10:7-8 And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ 8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.
Luke 14:16-23 Then He said to him, “A certain man gave a great supper and invited many, 17 and sent his servant at supper time to say to those who were invited, ‘Come, for all things are now ready.’ 18 But they all with one accord began to make excuses. The first said to him, ‘I have bought a piece of ground, and I must go and see it. I ask you to have me excused.’ 19 And another said, ‘I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I am going to test them. I ask you to have me excused.’ 20 Still another said, ‘I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.’ 21 So that servant came and reported these things to his master. Then the master of the house, being angry, said to his servant, ‘Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in here the poor and the maimed and the lame and the blind.’ 22 And the servant said, ‘Master, it is done as you commanded, and still there is room.’ 23 Then the master said to the servant, ‘Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.
1 Corinthians 2:1-5 And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God. 2 For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. 3 I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling. 4 And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, 5 that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.
1 Cor. 1:18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God…
22 For Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom; 23 but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness, 24 but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. 25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.
1 John 2:1 My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. 2 And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.
Ephesians 1:17-23 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, 18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power 20 which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. 22 And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, 23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.
John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
Luke 10:20b … rejoice because your names are written in heaven.”
Acts 16:31 So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
Romans 10:9-10 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
